My 45 out of the 250+ Corporate Members included Credit Suisse, Citi Bank, Deutsche bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JP Morgan and ING Bank. This role cemented my interest in account management and working with exciting, global organisations. The fast-paced, high pressured nature of the role led me to value the importance of good communication in environments like this. Whilst at LSE, I was an active member of the Women's Network as well as working in the Corporate Social Reponsibility (CSR) committee. In particular, I enjoyed volunteering at the Women's Project @ City Gateway, teaching English as an additional language at their Literacy Lunch sessions. Show less

In order to broaden my corporate experience as a Graduate in their company, after giffgaff, I moved to Telefonica's Head Office. I mostly worked as a Comms and HR Co-ordinator for Telefonica staff in 8 countries within Latin America; Germany; Spain and UK. I co-ordinated recruitment activity and company updates within these countries' company offices and analysed and reported the data to multiple senior leaders in London and Madrid. I was also the London office representative for o2 'Think Big'. Think Big is a fantastic culmination of Youth Protection, Green Planet Support, Youth Projects and Business Knowledge Sharing. giffgaff is a mobile telephone network, running as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) using the UK O2 network. The founder imagined a mobile network run on the principle of mutuality: one that rewarded its community of customers for doing much of the work normally done by employees. During my time there I enjoyed being a team player in an exciting start-up environment. Below is an overview of my responsibilities within the role: - Responsible for all internal communications - Excellent relationships with our outsourced PR agencies - Excellent working relationships with press and scheduled regular interviews with the CEO -Managed the CEO's diary and planned and attended Senior Leadership meetings -Co-ordinated weekly company meetings, including off-site events and guest speakers -Created and ran company-wide charity events -The company quadrupled in size in 2012, due to this, I was asked to run a property search to find us a bigger office space. Within 6 months I found the property, had the office fitted out to a welcoming, creative and fun space and led the property design and office furniture fitting with a leading interior design specialist -I blogged for the company's website and ran regular surveys for our members to ensure that we understood their needs as customers -Attended courses on copy-writing and the use of 'Brand Messaging' to clients -As Office Manager I on-boarded 50 new starters into the company -I worked with a top graphic designer to create the new Brand Handbook to present to new staff Show less
