I mentor three students from different Kent Academy schools as part of a University Access scheme that is supported by the Sutton Trust. This involves working on two week-long residential trips and two day events per year, as well as on-going mentoring via an online platform. Target and Access
-
Feb 2013 - Feb 2014
As an elected member of the Target and Access committee (one of three members), my role involved supporting the work of the Target and Access officer. During my time on the committee, I helped with the CUSU shadowing scheme, liaised with schools to conduct university tours and established an annual visit for Tendring Technology College. Planning for this visit involved arranging talks from Fitz admissions tutors, student presentations and two college tours and a UL tour.
