Accounts Assistant

Currently I work as an Accounts Assistant for Trust on Tap. I started this role during my gap year after I went travelling and I loved it so much that I made a part time arrangement in which I have been able to continue my role from my accommodation at the University of Southampton. I work with a small team as a gateway between carers and customers. My role includes working with a specialist software to process up to 250 carer timesheets every Monday, this includes phone calls to carers and customers as well as communication with local councils. I also work with excel frequently making financial spreadsheets for each weeks profits. In addition to my finance role I also work with marketing and it is my role to update the indeed adverts for the company’s careers as-well as editing and video footage. I have found my role really rewarding as I have loved building relationships with carers and watching my phone skills improve dramatically. Show less

Chalet Cook Host

Dec 2021 - Jan 2022
I worked in Verbier for two months as a Chalet Chef. It was my first official role post culinary school. The role was very challenging as it was demanding in all areas. I had to wake up early, budget my food, cook 3 meals a day as-well as keeping the guests happy and maintaining a front that everything was going smoothly. I found this role very rewarding as it was very satisfying to challenge myself and excel under the pressure. Using my culinary skills in the real world was also very exciting and I loved having the control and freedom to design my own menu. During my time in the Alps I worked with several amazing chefs who really inspired me and showed me cooking methods that I would have never thought of. Unfortunately I was meant to work for Ski Armadillo for a few months, however, due to a serious injury which meant my role was no longer possible I was sent home early. Show less
