My role as Multimedia and Awareness Executive involves a few different duties, most importantly as Manager of the Irish language information hub - PEIG.ie. This involves overseeing changes and developments to the website as well as managing the work done on the site. One of the first tasks I was given in this role was to oversee the development of a website for Bliain na Gaeilge 2018, which involved designing and overseeing the development of the website in time for November 2017.Among other duties I have taken on with this role include the organisation of 'Gréasán na Lárionad' - A national network of Irish language centres working together to provide Irish language services to local communities, launching the first directory or Irish language centres in January 2018.Another duty of mine, not directly linked to my role, but nonetheless one of my favourite aspects of work is proofreading and translation. These have always been a personal interest of mine and I'm glad that I'm given the task of ensuring pieces are ok to be published publicly on a regular basis. Show less
