      My activity is related to the EU Technical Assistance project Support to the enforcement, probation and rehabilitation systems in Moldova. This project is part of the EU justice sector support to Moldova, directed especially at sustainable reforms and at increasing the efficiency of the judiciary and justice sector agencies. It is one of three parallel technical assistance projects which focus on the functioning of Moldovan courts, the criminal justice chain, and the execution of sanctions (both civil and criminal). The Project is designed to help implement certain parts of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy, with the overall underlying objective of reforming the enforcement, detention, probation and rehabilitation systems in Moldova. My work is within the Penitentiary Department (PD) and Probation Service, contributing to the project’s overall objectives. In particular support development of individual treatment plans, which is focused on: assisting in elaboration and implementation of plans and methodologies on sanctions execution; in creation and implementation the programs for the individual planning of the punishment execution; development of probational program; training of experts in delivering both developed programs in prison and probation.
