Tadashi Hirai, CPF

I, Tadashi Hirai, am a director in charge of learning support team of the Asian Youth Exchange Program in Okinawa (AYEPO 2010), which is an educational and international exchange program hosted by Cabinet Office of Japan held for three weeks in August 2010 with 80 high school student participants from 16 Asian countries. The learning support team consists of four professional facilitators and 16 university/college student tutors (eight from Okinawa and eight from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University). Dissa Ahdanisa was one of the tutors who played an extraordinary role in supporting the learning of high school participants during the program. With the theme "Water related environmental issues in the World", we provided lectures by specialists in the field of environmental issues, group discussions based on the lectures, various activities such as team-building, beach combing, learning Okinawan traditional karate/eisa and so on. There is no doubt that the contribution of tutors to this success was tremendous and Dissa Ahdanisa played the most brilliant role among them.
