Marcela Davila
I know Dagmara for over 2 years, we worked together at the Bioinformatics Core Facility at the University of Gothenburg. She developed helpful software targeting proteomic data and besides her computational background, her understanding of biological concepts is an asset. She has an ease to work in multidisciplinary environments and is skilled in understanding others' needs. Dagmara has an inquisitive personality, she is eager to solve challenges and is really easy to work with her. Good luck Dagmara!

I had the opportunity to work with Dagmara for over a year at the Bioinformatics Core Facilities. During this time I served as a senior developer while she was working as a junior developer. We were part of a newly created development unit, tasked with the internal software development of the facilities. Dagmara had to develop new applications for different units using both familiar and unfamiliar tools. Working with Dagmara was a rather pleasant and enriching experience. She is a clever individual, with a critical mind and a very direct personality. She has a good understanding of the IT world which allowed for very interesting and stimulating conversations and facilitated collaborating and project planning with her. Besides her technical knowledge, she would surprise me with her administrative and planning skills. She had the opportunity to participate in a couple of courses we organized during her time with us. During these courses, her people and organization skills were an asset while dealing with the students. It is my understanding that she also volunteered to be part of the environmental group and played a role to organize and further developed it. Dagmara showed initiative and will do her best to research what she didn't know before asking for guidance. I believe that she has great promise and that she would be an asset to any organization if allowed to use her talents rather than restricting her into limited roles.
