I also continued to manage the R&D activities at Imdex Technology Sweden. This included the development of the Reflex Gyro for Reflex Instruments. I was also director and non-executive board member of all Imdex' Swedish business units: Imdex Sweden AB, Reflex Instruments AB and Imdex Technology Sweden AB. At the end of my employment with Imdex, during January - September 2010, I managed the Swedish business units through a controlled shutdown with transfer of production and IP to Australia. I was resposible for coordinating all R&D projects for borehole surveying which required management of development teams in Sweden, Germany, the UK and Australia.

The main work areas were to assist in building up the production and engineering resources in Vallentuna as well as coordinating consultant resources. I worked actively with customer support and also travelled extensively to provide local services to FlexIT's global network of distributors at trade shows and in practical field demonstrations.

This was in cooperation with the Swedish land surveying organization Vehicle Safety Testing This was a concept study together with Autoliv, Volvo and Saab to evaluate the use of MEMS navigation systems for tracking high dynamic motion in vehicle safety tests.

My work covered a series of commercial MEMS gyro design projects. My work covered a series of commercial MEMS gyro design projects. One example is a project for Saab Bofors Dynamics AB during 1999-2003 which was under a grant from the Swedish program for aerospace research. As part of in-house software development I designed platforms for: • FE simulation of thermo-elastic phenomena in microstructures, • Reduced order modelling for high degree of freedom problems, • Automated gyro design optimization, • Automated code generation for mechanization in Kalman filters. In addition I supervised three master thesis projects in collaboration with IMTEK in Freiburg, Germany. I was also temporary appointed Unit Manager during April to August 2001 and was responsible for IT management and security during 1999-2004.
