Mariska Ruiter
Daan was the kind of intern you wished you could keep! His ambitions however took him to the Technical University of Eindhoven first, to get his MSc in Urban Planning. After this, in 2008, I was glad he still wanted to join our team of Urban Solutions at Royal Haskoning. Since then we worked together, successfully, on numerous international and national urban projects. For example the Development Plan Sint Maarten, and the Master Plan Deep Sea Port Kribi – Cameroun. Daan, it was a pleasure getting to know you and working with you, and I am confident we will work together in the future!

I worked with Daan for the past five years as project manager for international master plans such as the Kribi Industrial Port Complex Master Plan in Cameroon. Daan was part of the urban design teams and his work always proved to be of great value. He is both creative and practical in designing and with the help of his skills of several software programs he knows how to make his work look clear, professional and attractive. He is reliable in his work, remains calm and friendly in even the most stressful situations and is loyal to his colleagues.
