  The conversion of an empty gas reservoir into a gas storage facility involves modification of an existing well site to accommodate 14 new wells in addition to the 6 existing wells. Fluor scope also involves construction of a new gas treatment plant with injection and treatment facilities. The injection facilities comprise six 10 MW centrifugal compressors; the treatment facilities comprise two dew point correction units (silica gel). The well site and gas plant are connected by two 30" pipelines. The project includes tie-ins to an existing peak gas installation and the national gas transmission grid.
