Productivity improvement: In the 1st half of 2011, we suffered very worst of human resource loss, we need to recover the productivity asap. I re-arranged the department manager/process engineers/equipment engineers, training course, and outside vendor support for human resource loss. I also outsourced our bottleneck process, PECVD, to other company within 2 months and also simplified BPSG process to reduce the process change time to gain more capacity. We recovered the capacity very quickly and achieved the 100 million of revenue in July. - 2. New technology mass production: Successful to mass produce 4 brand new products in 2011. We also finished some of technology engineering qualification and waiting for mass production, such as Schottky, DMOS, and ESD… etc. - 3. Cost reduction: I led my core team to have many cost reduction items, and we reduced NTD$17 million and achieved our target NTD$ 10 million in 2011. - 4. Quality improvement: To drive defect reduction task force, we successfully reduce defect density D0 from 0.5 to 0.33 within one year. Setup quality control in whole wafer process such as SPC control, MRB/OCAP. I also led quality improvement meeting, and represents our company to routinely attended customer quality review meeting. I got special quality award in Macronix that is a SPC improvement, we create a new daily indexes to real time control SPC and got a excellent performance. - 5. Have a strong ability to handle an emergency event such as: - 5.1 Metal corrosion event : To contaminate the impact, quickly find out the root cause, to setup prevention system such as corrosion daily monitor system, potable Cl2 monitor system, in-line product monitor system, to setup optimum HEPA life time …etc. We can fully control the metal corrosion event. - 5.2 EKC shortage: It will impact revenue huge. Since the EKC’s raw material HDA factory exploded in Japan, it really impacted the world-wide Semiconductor company. We co-work with many vendors to evaluate new source, and also extend the life time of EKC to reduce the usage. We successfully pass this crisis, and won a special contribution prize in Macronix. - 5.3 Poly cavity event: It was a copper contamination event, I handled this event and found out the root cause and mechanism.
