Dave Lorenzo
As Development Director of the ITC, I worked closely with Cédric during his 3 years of service on the ITC board of directors. Particularly, we worked very closely together during his tenure as the ITC Chairman. The ITC board of directors is diverse group of international companies that share a common goal in IntelliCAD but also typically compete, this makes for interesting BOD dynamics and Cédric handled this challenge well during his tenure. This was a difficult time to be Chairman as we were in transition hiring a new President and Cédric also performed many of the President’s duties during that time. In addition to the Chairman and President duties, Cédric also organized a successful IntelliCAD 2008 World Meeting in Athens. It was great to have Cédric during this challenging time. He is smart, well organized, enthusiastic and passionate about his work. He is able to both produce results and lead others to successfully produce results – which is a key trait for a leader in a small organization like the ITC. I enjoyed working with Cédric and believe he would be a great asset for any company.

Cedric was a major at Uni 3 years in a row and has always attracted positive attention from professors and students. He is a bright chap and knows how to put together : knowledge, network and actions, at the right speed, to be successful. Together at Uni we created the first job offer service and competed with the same service at private schools and ended up leading the market at this time. Our efforts showed: better results than private schools and even from local companies in that field. Cederic's role was co-heading this organisation alongside me, especially the taking over on the admin, finance and the management of the team. He attracted the best students and was able to retain them!! Since, we have been sharing thoughts and ideas about business practices, innovation and marketing strategy. The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (the "ITC") is a Washington non-profit Organization based in Portland Oregon which mission is to provide to its members a CAD development platform known as the IntelliCAD Technology. The IntelliCAD Technology is an alternative to AutoCAD for Vertical Application Developers and more generally speaking ISVs looking to market an AutoCAD clone. The ITC is owned by its members, nearly 50 companies from all over the world including among other renown companies Carlson Software, Graitec, Zwcad, 4M, Progesoft, Stabiplan, GstarCAD... etc Main accomplishments : • Presided over 9 Board Meetings and 3 Members Meetings. Reelected 3 times. • Built strong relationship with multiple Members and Board Members. • Promoted a fair competition among members and successfully solved numerous disputes. • Promoted a stronger protection for IntelliCAD IP. • Encouraged a better communication between the ITC and its members • Contributed to build a positive work culture among the Board Members to reach consensus on numerous strategic decisions. • Promoted and contributed to build the ITC Business Development action to provide more visibility and more resources to the ITC. • Successfully organized the IntelliCAD World Meeting in Athens with a 25% increase in participation. • Interim Chief Executive Officer for a total of 13 months in 2007 and 2008 managing the ITC President duties with the exclusion of Finances and Sales. Data Prompt Technologies (DP Tech) is a French CAD Software editor based in Arpajon, 30 km south of Paris. The IntelliPlus range is powered by the IntelliCAD Technology and offers a cost-effective yet powerful alternative to AutoCAD. With over 25 000 users over the World and 2500 professional users in France, DP Tech has achieved in a few years a market share of 10% in volume. I created this company with two partners in 2001. Main acomplishments : • Conducted comprehensive market research and refocused the strategy on the IntelliCAD Business. • Created and marketed the IntelliPlus trademark. • Defined and implemented a new Marketing and E-Marketing strategy to penetrate the French-speaking markets and adapt the business model to reach profitability and penetrate 10% of the market compared to AutoCAD. • Closed a major deal with World n°1 Group in the Construction sector Vinci. • Co-founded a branch in Montreal, Canada. • Promoted a close collaboration with other ITC Members and with the ITC itself. • Initiated and negotiated an exclusive Distribution agreement with foreign companies to represent their Vertical Applications over the French and Dutch speaking markets. • Implemented an ERP system to manage the information workflow and increase productivity. • Created a resellers channel in France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom raising our customers base to 25 000 users over the World.
