Matteo Risoldi
Cyril and I worked together at goldenTech, where we were both team leaders in different software projects. During his induction period he quickly picked up the complex software project he would lead from his predecessor, and he continued to show strong technical skills throughout the time he was employed at the company. He has excellent capacities as an analyst to quickly identify viable solutions, and is very clear and explicit in communicating issues, needs and propositions. His tasks were always delivered on time and target. Since his project was a centerpiece of our architecture, he successfully acted as a technical point of reference for the rest of the development team. In his quality as a team leader, he has shown a good leadership attitude, and he was able to focus his team members and distribute resources as appropriate, given the ever-shifting priorities of a software startup. He kept a frank and open relationship with the management team and with other team leaders, and did not shy away from facing issues in the development process and proposing solutions before those issues became critical. He understood well team dynamics and was a great asset for the team when the company had to navigate difficult times. Cyril is a nice person to work with, has a nice sense of humour and he is a colleague you can count on. After the company was dissolved, me and other development team members kept a good relationship with him. It was an honour working with Cyril and I wish him the best success in his forthcoming ventures.
