American Conservation Experience is a non-profit conservation corps dedicated to promoting and preserving the environment through a variety of conservation projects in partnership with the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the United States Forest Service, and other public and non-profit land management agencies throughout California and other states. I worked with ACE for three months with volunteers from around the world. We were often required to camp for extended lengths of time, hike long distances, and perform challenging tasks to conserve and protect habitat and public lands. Show less
