  I'm the author of Rambutan, Recipes from Sri Lanka, a new Bloomsbury cookbook all about Sri Lanka's unique, spicy, fresh, vegetable-friendly cuisine. It's also the story of growing up as a British Sri Lankan Tamil and it is full of auntie recipes, what music my mum likes to dance to, how to smack open a coconut, and photos of the people and the country I have held in such melancholy, joy and wonder all my life.
