Cynthia was part of the special project team that implemented the ECM software at ENMAX. The mandate for the ECM implementation team was to meet all the objectives of the ECM project without adding any additional duties to the user departments or increasing the size of the information and records management operational team. This seemingly impossible task was accomplished by adding a business analyst who also has project management skills. Cynthia's role on the team was to work with the user departments to ensure their particular document classification/indexing systems could be integrated into the corporate classification/indexing system to allow for 'behind the scenes/seamless' classification of electronic information at the folder level. Cynthia acquired sufficient understanding of the records and information management field to work effectively with both the user departments and the rest of the ECM implementation team. Her experience would be valuable to any company looking for a successful ECM implementation.
