During my presidency: • FCSLA’s insurance in force has exceeded $1 billion dollars and assets have grown to over $1 billion, surplus exceeds $106 million, solidifying FCSLA as one of the top sustainable fraternal benefit societies in the United States. • FCSLA continues to be recognized nationally as a longstanding strong and sound fraternal benefit society, and our A.M. Best rating of A- (Excellent) has been affirmed for 9 consecutive years, since the beginning of my term. • Led, planned, managed, and presided at 3 consecutive National Conventions resulting in a complete revision of our bylaws and mergers of 2 like-minded fraternal organizations. • According to our independent actuaries, reversed drain on surplus through appropriate repricing seeing solid growth in sales assets and surplus, with a generous value to members. • FCSLA responded to changes in the marketplace and compliance requirements by creating and/or revising several new insurance and annuity products • Led development of Enterprise Risk Framework and process.
