  Investigated genetic variants in two candidate genes involved with phenotypic variability in blood samples of people with 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome. Helped write/edit research proposal submitted to university IRB, ran PCR and sequenced specific areas on the DNA around the SNPs of interest and presented to UNO's annual research symposium.
