  Along with my research partners, we investigate problems in graph theory related to Anti-Van der Waerden numbers. Currently, our work is focused on determining rainbow numbers for various progressions on the number line. Simply put, we determine the number of colors one needs in order to force a rainbow to appear, given certain restrictions We have been accepted to present our findings at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research in April of 2019. This work has been conducted under the guidance of Dr. Michael Young and Alex Schulte at Iowa State University. Show less
