This included remotes for local companies that sponsor with Peace River Broadcasting. I was hired as an Anchor/Reporter in September 2007. I was responsible for anchoring news/sports/weather and the farm report for YL Country and Kix FM. Each newscast would reach listeners in areas such as Peace River, High Level, High Prairie, Fairview, Valleyview, Fox Creek and Grande Prairie. I was also able to cover court cases, meetings about a proposed nuclear powerplant, house/building fires and sporting events. Show less
