Curtis was my direct supervisor in 2001 and 2002. Curtis held a unique perspective in that he has been both a Field Service Engineer and a Regional Field Service Manager. During my time reporting to Curtis, he always exhibited an outstanding sense of managing a department for both the company and the people who reported to him. Curtis was always supportive with my personal or professional issues and always helped me seek the best solution to these issues. Curtis' organization allowed him to efficiently direct the field support region he was assigned. His background in field service allowed him to understand the customer base at a level few managers have. He also understood the difficulties of constant travel for a field service support role can be. Because of this experience, I believe Curtis expectation for his department was held to a higher standard. In turn, he had the ability to mentor and aid the field service staff when asked by the field engineers. It was my pleasure to have worked with and for Curtis. I offer my endorsement and recommendation to Curtis to any employer who is seeking a quality and proficient technical manager who is dedicated to the customer, both external and internal.
