Achievements include retaining 100% of employees maintaining specific and unique occupational skills who were expiring on their contractual requirements. Reviewed all employee benefit correspondences to include employees from tenant commands with zero returns for revision or correction. While serving as the Volunteer Protection Program Chairman, the unit achieved the 2022 Safety Award for the Marine Corps. Was rated the best unit in the region after the latest Commanding General's Inspection Program (CGIP) is to assesses the ability of the unit to prepare for and to perform its assigned mission through a centralized inspection program. During this timeframe, the unit was also selected by the Secretary of Defense to be the Dynamic Force Employment of approximately 300 Marines and Sailors for Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Peru which deployed aboard the USS SOMERSET (LPD 25) to conduct humanitarian assistance and disaster relief training with Peruvian naval forces.
