I spent the summer of 2019 as an intern in PwC to get a feel for a company before I would decide to work there. I learned a lot to do with self-management and how a role in a team can greatly influence project outcomes. A testing experience was making myself known amongst the team of over a two-hundred people that I am willing to offer assistance, which required a lot of confidence and social ability. I feel I conquered this and managed to keep myself occupied with work for the entire duration of the internship. Show less

Worked as a Crew Member for the summer of 2018, staying in my rented student house for the duration. Performed several roles which all required a great deal of teamwork. Was keen to learn new positions during my short time, developing my knowledge of the role. I left McDonald's in order to focus on my studies, for the academic year beginning October 2018. The first 5 months working at Belle Vue was spent working behind a kiosk, where large numbers of customers would approach me to give their bets. After excelling in my customer service skills, I was moved to the restaurant section of the stadium. This is where I flourished; I was now serving bets to tables of families and over the night would keep the tables satisfied and entertained. My customer service skills were improved as I gained much confidence. During my time at the restaurant I received 2 formal commendations for my excellent customer service. Show less
