  BNS Web Series are conversation(s), discussion(s), and future panels to Barriers and Successes to Health Care. All discussion conversation, and future panels will be LIVE & Recorded due to the fact that’s the best way to reach those who can’t be reached. Technology plays a big part in getting the word out and making a change now in days. Some will talk about how homelessness will have an effect on receiving proper health care. Some will discuss the provider(s) aspect on the do’s and don’ts when it comes to serving the LGBT community in healthcare. And their will sometimes be heated panels on people's viewpoints when it comes to Barriers and Successes in Health Care. BNS Web Series give people of the LGBTQ community and provider(s) (nurses, doctors, case managers, patient advocates, and etc.) the platform to express how they feel talk about their experiences how it affected the in the long run, and what good came out it and what do you do to make things better from the last experience.

  (2015-Present) M-Fierce Project- We are working with agencies and community stakeholders in Southeast Michigan to develop structural approaches that reduce HIV/STI disparities among young gay and bisexual men and transgender women. Develops LGBTQ health education resources for health care providers as part of a 10-site technical assistance program. (2014) Get Connected Project- is an intervention development study to link young gay, bisexual, and other young men who have sex with men (YMSM) to high quality, culturally competent STI testing and screening in Southeast Michigan.(2011) Detroit Youth Passages Project- Served as a liaison to community where data collection was planned. Addressed the IRB regarding questions specific to the target population; advocated on behalf of the community to be reached. Supported development of the survey instrument as well as selection of data collection venues for a venue-based survey of 289 participants.Facilitated the completion of more interviews than any other individual on the data collection team. Accurately documented and ensured disbursement of cash incentives for each interview.
