Writing my experience after getting hit by a 17 year old who was using her cell phone to tell her dad that she was late for curfew. I sustained a TBI Traumatic Brain Injury that has left me with semi-parysis on my left side. I also have a 20% vision cut on my left and what is called left side neglect, where my brain does not recognize the left side of my body. I was in a wheelchair for a few years, but go to therapy once a week at Neuroworx to be walking now.
