  Whilst initially employed with the expectation of becoming onboarding manager once the organisation's online presence was properly established I remained in a sales capacity, managing our Essex sales team, before being asked to replace the previous development manager. In this role I work in conjunction with directors and managers to improve company efficiency through optimisation and development of Salesforce CRM to suit the organisation's needs, along with helping to improve internal staff procedures and training. It's hard to step away from sales entirely so I still keep a hand in, taking on some of the more time-consuming activities. Additionally, I also jointly help manage our affiliate sales relationships. Obviously, every company's use of Salesforce will vary according to their needs and marketplace, so it's worth outlining what I do. Our use of Salesforce relates to sales of home broadband services to consumers and 95% of staff time in SF is spent on Orders and Cases My work includes the following: Rationalisation of Account, Contact and Order object and page usage Management of Products - Pricebooks - Website campaigns Creation of Cases - our departmental ticketing systems Affiliates and Affiliate campaigns Creation of Approvals - internal refund and credit authorisations Management of Process builder and Workflows Basic reports for sales tracking and renewals Creation of management dashboards as requested Management of Profiles - Permission Sets Staff / Manager training on Salesforce Apex and external API work is handled by a colleague, not myself.
