Matt Eland
I had the privilege of teaching Paul during his time as a .NET and JavaScript full-stack development student. Paul is an exceptionally enthusiastic individual who passionately pursues any project he undertakes. I saw Paul work well as an individual and in a team, most notably achieving a significant group development project for an external organization where the team built a client / server Vue.js (JavaScript) and .NET Core application in an agile / iterative fashion over a total of 8 days. I'm personally very impressed with Paul's mixture of professionalism with enjoying himself and lifting up his teammates. Paul knows how to work hard and get things done, and he knows how to have fun while doing it. Paul is the type of individual I would have loved to have on my team, and I'm a little sad I never got to call him a coworker during my days as a developer. I miss him as a student and I know he's going to go on to do awesome things with all of his talents, and that those talents will grow steadily over time. Disclaimer: My policy with students is to write recommendations upon request and to give truthful and accurate recommendations tailored to individual students performance, personalities, and unique skillsets. This recommendation should not be viewed as any form of favoritism.
