My responsibilities include, but not limited to reviewing, interpreting and updating drawings, managing contractors and materials, keeping the job site safe and organized. I also submit change orders and maintain a good re pore with the client/owner.. Responsible for making sure that the client/owner understands all implications of methods and common practices of the build. While working closely with the Project Manger and other team members, to assure the lines of communication are kept open and understandable, and clear. As well as any other unforeseen circumstances that may arise. Its my responsibility to foresee challenges and minimize the implications of those opportunities. To update Microsoft Project and make sure subs are ready when their time is approaching, and make sure they have enough personnel on site to stay within the critical path guidelines put in place. It is by my recommendation that subs continue to do business with our company, or not. I must remain firm, but flexible when appropriate, and never let them see me sweat there is never a hurdle that is too big to overcome. I am a solutions person that keeps long and short term goals in perspective. Once established the goal doesn't change. Only the steps that get us to that goal can be a moving target, at times. It's the manner of how we deal with those changes, challenges and opportunities for victory that define us as a team. Integrity and a professional demeanor must be maintained at all times on site and around the board room table. Show less
