  From July 2016 to September 2018, I worked in both Ladbrokes and Coral's TV studio and galleries in Milton Keynes as a Technical operator providing live coverage of horse racing and greyhound racing worldwide. Currently, I am fulfilling the same role but for BetfredTV in MediaCity, Manchester.EVS Operator - I provide stills and instant replays for all race meetings shown on the 3 BetfredTV channels. I also save clips into the EVS banks, including pre-records, which I build and edit into playlists to be played out live, as and when required.Chyron Play-Out - I use Chyron's LyricX to call and animate full-screen graphics which display betting odds for various events. I am required to update the odds manually if the link to the database is disrupted. Graphics - I use a custom version of Tog to display various live on-screen graphics. I must manually assign the RHS 'L' graphic displaying current betting odds as well as the race ident top strap for each race. Once a race has finished, I input the result which appears as a drop down box from the top strap. I manually input and update the news ticker and news messages in the lower third as well as name straps and price boosts, which I animate on and off screen.Sound - I operate a Yamaha LS9 sound desk during live studio shows. Once the presenter and guest microphone levels are set, I use a sub-group mix to control the studio mics. In addition to microphones, I mix the commentary from the different race tracks and audio from VT's played out on EVS. When required, I use appropriate effects such as EQ, compression and other dynamic controls.Cameras - I also operate 4 Sony BRC cameras using the Sony RM-BR300 remote control unit to frame guests and presenters during live shows.   In addition to my previous role as a technical operator, I had the opportunity to undertake the role of a Multi-Skilled Operator for 12-months as part of a maternity cover. I had the added responsibility of vision mixing the live output of Betfred's 3 channel output .I was tasked with the operation of a Snell Kahuna vision mixer to mix between live feeds from each of the racetracks as well as stills/replays from EVS and using keys and macros for full-screen graphics from Tog and Chyron.
