      My role as New Build Contracts Manager comprised a wide variety of responsibilities, predominantly overseeing the contractual, financial and administrative aspects of projects from the start through to completion. I was the first point of contact for clients, site managers and sub-contractors for the duration of the contract.Key responsibilities included collation of Health and Safety documentation, negotiating sub-contract orders and monitoring variations to the contract. Managing client expectations was an essential component of the role as was resolving complex financial disputes. I had an in depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the contracting process, technical building requirements and excellent commercial sense, as well as a solid working knowledge of contract law.I established strong working relationships with blue chip clients including Barratt David Wilson Homes, Taylor Wimpey Developments and Persimmon Homes as well as all of the top House Builders in the UK in order to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.Always well-organised and capable of meeting deadlines my hard work and perseverance helped the company gain recognition in the construction industry winning several NHBC awards across housing developments nationwide. My tenure as New Build Contracts Manager embraced a wide range of financial issues.
