My completed DPhil Thesis is entitled ‘Psycho-social perspectives on the traumatising effect of living and working with violence in distressed and traumatised (dis)organisations’. It was savaged and ravaged and forced to close as a result of NHS mis-management in 2008 in its 60th anniversary year. My particular interest was to work with people presenting after assaults, accidents or with other post-traumatic difficulties as well as working with people presenting at A&E following incidents of self-harm.
