  I perform phlebotomy duties such as venipunctures, capillary punctures and heel sticks. I make sure that my patient is comfortable and understands what I am doing, as well as explaining the process if need be. I also make sure my samples are collected, labeled and distributed to the correct departments in a timely manner.
