  Im currently in the process of developing and implementing my own non-profit community service; where i assist transitional age youth between the ages of 18-29 return into their community and/or develop the skills to live independently. I want to work with populations such as youth who are homeless, aging out of foster care and those coming out of correctional facilities.   I currently supervise the Next Door program. At Next Door we assistance individuals and families who are homeless and near homeless. We provide case management and rental assistance. We encourage all services seekers to look at Next Door as more of a "hand up" not a "hand out". With limited funds its very hard to assist everyone financially, but we can provide case management and help you locate other resources; as well as advocate for you when necessary.
