I was hired as a full-time librarian and head of our district's Instructional Media Center in 2006. Along with these duties, I taught guided reading classes. After my 7th year, my position was cut to half-time and the IMC was moved to a different building. I was also given the duty of computer teacher. Today I teach K-4 library and computer classes. I am a Cyclone Sprinters coach, and I am in charge of my school's Reading is Fundamental program. I was hired as a full-time librarian and head of our district's Instructional Media Center in 2006. I was an Adult Basic Education instructor for a program called Project Finish. During this time, I was also a Center Director my final year. I was responsible for helping students acquire their GED. I learned about the GED exam, and I instructed students so that they would have the skills to pass this test. I was responsible for program entry testing as well as recording program data for each student. I worked with and monitored volunteer tutors, and I maintained the center schedule.
