      Area of Responsibility - The Site Representative (SR) is responsible for overseeing all construction related activities, including new construction, retrofits, additions, repairs, testing, inspections, and retirements. The SR’s initial responsibilities are to understand, administer, and manage the proposed contract that exists between the client and contractor. Our principal concern for all work applications is the safety of all persons on the construction site. The SR plays a pivotal role in the management of a construction project. Coordinate, direct, and maintain contacts with contractors, vendors, and customers. Strive to identify engineering and operational deficiencies with the goal to recommend improvements. Have working knowledge of corporation’s construction standards and be able to enforce those standards in the construction environment. Have a working knowledge of clients’ departmental policies and objectives, including any applicable governmental and regulatory requirements. Facilitate the preparation of schedules, records, and work status with the ability to evaluate work progress for payment purposes. Provide recommendations to improve performance and cost effectiveness. Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
