Chris managed a team of four student Vice Presidents and nine career full time staff members in an organization with over 125 part time student employees providing a diverse array of services with a yearly operating budget of nearly 3 million dollars. Chris also acted as the official spokesperson for the 16 500 students at Dalhousie University by regularly providing interviews for print, radio and television news stories and lobbying on postsecondary education issues at the municipal, provincial, and federal level. In 2011-2012 Chris was also the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations, representing over 320,000 post-secondary students at 25 institutions to the federal government.
