I have been an alumni mentor to Georgia Tech students for five years. Rick was my mentee for the 2013/14 school year--his senior year at Georgia Tech. Rick is a modest yet outgoing, extremely competent individual. I've not known another individual who graduated as a Georgia Tech engineer with highest honors. We met biweekly, but occasionally rescheduled based on his need to complete or refine his projects. Rick always strives to exceed the expectations laid out before him. I am not surprised that he has progressed quickly in his career. We have stayed in contact since his graduation because our mutual respect is so high!
