The Elections in Action program works with 25 Chicago Public School teachers and their students with the mission of involving students in elections through direct campaign work. This involves coordination with political campaigns, communicating frequently with teachers and students, as well as hosting leadership events and visiting classrooms to better prepare students for their campaigning experiences. Additionally, I also supervise the Student Election Judge Program, where 1,500 Chicago high school students serve as election judges on Election Day, through a partnership with the Board of Elections.
