As CFO at Arqiva, I had the pleasure of working with Cristina in her capacity as Director of Business Development. Cristina’s tenacity, communication and relationship skills shaped a number of innovative and complex customer solutions. She initiated and led to closure the business’ largest deal, with Nationwide Building Society, as well as DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) deal with the luxury retailer, Selfridges. As part of this process, Cristina wrote and negotiated complex Statements of Work and contracts as well as led key stakeholder management from board through to project operations. I would also reference Cristina’s proactive / self-starting initiatives such as forecasting, market trend analysis and intelligence, strategy development and omni-channel market engagement. Arqiva WiFi was acquired by the Virgin Group and became Virgin WiFi in Autumn 2016. Throughout the transition, and as Chair of the Arqiva Group Employee Board, Cristina played a critical role in ensuring staff engagement throughout a prolonged and complex sale and integration process.
