Food Insecurity Programming Intern
-
May 2023 - Present
Created a health promotion plan to reduce the impact of food insecurity on TAMU-CC students and improve overall health and wellbeing. I assessed and analyzed the food insecurity programs on-campus and created a detailed list of recommendations for future improvement. The assessment included quantitative survey, Qualitative interview, a program summary report, and a SWOT analysis. Along with results from a thorough literature review, a plan for future implementation to reduce stigma and barriers, and increase awareness, usability and knowledge on food insecurity was created.
