I believe every line of code we write should have a positive impact on people's lives. I had the opportunity to develop lots of functionalities as a Back-End Developer at Hotmart. My main mission was building microservices in Java and related technologies, such as Spring Boot, Spring Data, Hibernate and JPA. I also worked with the AWS stack to deliver these microservices. I consider my main challenge as a developer at Hotmart to have been integrating the company’s financial universe with SAP ERP. This was a great accomplishment for the company considering the improved workflow and positive financial impact. I also helped my team and company in the role of Team Leader. Faced with this responsibility, I was able to establish a standard of agile practices allowing the team to accomplish deliverables and workplace quality.

I love observing how people become empowered while learning to code. I helped students explore algorithms in two disciplines: Algorithms & Data Structures and Information Retrieval. These disciplines helped the students to understand the basics of data structures, how to create complex algorithms with them, and how to implement these in real-world… Show more As a professor at PUC Minas, I had the incredible opportunity to help lots of students get better at their coding skills through algorithms. I love observing how people become empowered while learning to code. I helped students explore algorithms in two disciplines: Algorithms & Data Structures and Information Retrieval. These disciplines helped the students to understand the basics of data structures, how to create complex algorithms with them, and how to implement these in real-world situations. I was also responsible for Software Testing and Maintenance, where I could bring together my practical experience as a software maintenance and testing developer to facilitate student discussions about the most recent knowledge in these areas. For the three disciplines that I taught, I formulated the course content as well as the evaluation systems. Finally, I had the opportunity to supervise the initial stages of two undergraduate students’ honors theses, encouraging them to focus on problems to solve and orienting their research.
