  Baga Illuminazione was a family business founded by my father and his partner in 1972. I literally grew up working in the business and worked there part-time until I graduated, at which moment I joined the operation full-time as Export Manager. Within 10 years and with the support of senior management, I transformed the business into a multi-disciplinary group of activities: lighting production (Baga), brand representation (IHD), architectural and interior design practice (Pitti Design), Five-star luxury hotel ownership (Relais Santa Croce, Florence, IT). Also during this time, we grew from 15 employees and a €4M turnover to 130 employees and €35M. Before leaving the business, I worked with an in-house team to develop a lighting collection called 'Bespoke Lighting Collection' which was launched successfully in EuroLuce and Salone del Mobile in 2009. Today this collection along with all the Baga products is distributed by Patrizia Garganti.
