  Environmental management of the of Transamazonian road construction in Pará State – Brazil, for a total length of approximately 1.077,0 km. For 4 years I coordinated a team of 30 people of different backgrounds and was responsible for the implementation of all environmental programs required by the Brazilian environmental legislation; technical and environmental supervision of the works and implementation of Social Communication and Environmental Education programs in all cities affected by the works of the road construction. The environmental management of this project was based on three macro activities: Environmental Supervision; Environmental Management; and Implementation of Environmental Programs, all executed in compliance with the precepts of sustainable development; principles established by the Environmental Policy of the Ministry of Transports; Brazilian environmental legislation; recommendations of the environmental studies that preceded the obtaining of the respective environmental licenses of this project in Brazil. Developed activities: Effective systematic environmental control of the works in accordance with the premises established in the environmental studies, execution of the environmental programs with the desired quality and in strict compliance with the legislation of any level; Occupation: General coordinator: Evaluation and review of all the environmental technical documentation of the enterprise in the qualitative aspect, support and management of agreements to be celebrated with specialized companies or research/NGO institutions for the implementation and development of environmental programs; support and assembly of proposals and tenders to be celebrated with specialized companies; management with environmental agencies and institutional support with other actors (federal and municipal environmental agencies, Civil Defense, City Halls, etc.) and the elaboration of an Environmental Management System.
