Con-Serv is a wholesaler specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of bathroom healthcare products. The Con-Serv range consists of approximately 2,500 bathroom products including their Safe-Assist range of grab rails, anti-ligature, bariatric and antimicrobial bathroom fixtures. Answering directly to the CEO, I am responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the Con-Serv brand, marketing strategy and national campaigns ensuring that all marketing promotional and positioning activities complement Con-Serv’s organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities • Development and implementation Con-Serv’s National Marketing Plan • Development and implementation Con-Serv’s Digital Marketing Strategy • Content development across all mediums (traditional and digital) • Team development, including creating and presenting internal and external training programs • Ongoing web management and maintenance • Campaign management and execution • Brand development and management • Internal and external communications including Media Release, Departmental Procedures, White Papers, Product Specification and Fact Sheets, Brochures, Installation Instructions, Blogs, Product Updates and News Articles • Graphic design across all mediums (print and digital) • Support and management of Con-Serv’s offshore design team consisting on two graphic designers and 3D product renderers (This is a shared resource across Con-Serv’s Marketing, Engineering and Production Departments.) • Sales support including development of presentations, support material and event management • Communications and negotiations with external suppliers including web developers, printers, digital marketers, publications, packaging, event management teams and industry bodies e.g., Master Plumbers Associations and Architect Associations

My key responsibilities were to develop and implement a National Promotional Calendar aligning marketing activities with industry buying patterns through traditional and online mediums including digital, social media, direct mail, letter box distribution, press/magazine advertising, point-of-sale material, benefit propositions and industry related trade events. During my first year I introduced a customer loyalty program and successfully grew program membership to over 10,000 customers. In the first 12 months of operation, members average spend increased by +8% (YoY sales) and I had created a new revenue stream, invoicing over $30K per month in cooperative advertising fees. Launch activities included the development of a stand alone website, intranet pages, staff training, creation of corporate collateral, POS material and brand identity. In addition to this, I developed the programs strategic marketing plan targeting new customers, low and infrequent spenders and incorporated sales incentives to increase share-of-wallet and support Tradelink’s value add proposition for new business and tenders.
