      I worked on the fabrication of HDPE workboats used in offshore maintenance operations. We took the boats from the design through to manufacturing and testing. I worked on the workshop floor welding HDPE and installing the electrical harnesses for the boats. We tested the boats seaworthiness through sea trials in Houtbay Harbour and made modifications to the hulls to improve the boats handling in the water.
