I was originally hired in 1997 as the morning anchor, and was named N.D in September 2004. My duties were to run the newsroom. Hiring staff, assigning stories, planning election and budget coverage and anchoring special broadcasts. Filing in for staff when needed. I was also responsible for the morning news and sports run, and I also hosted a live call-in show for roughly 3 years. My main duties were reporting city council and school board, plus any daily assignments. I also anchored the afternoon F.M news, and for a time was the line-up editor for the morning A.M news anchor. I also had to research, interview and edit a 5 minute segment per week for a news/public affairs/entertainment show on the F.M station.
