Department was responsible for transmission reliability studies; including stability analysis and load flow studies of short term and longer term operation of the NSP transmission system. Served as the NSP representative on various MAPP committees. Worked with regional transmission utilities to resolve transmission planning and operational issues. Interesting work included, increasing the export capability from Canada from less then 1150 MW to over 1800 MW's in several stages of analysis and implementation.
