• Senior Advisor Business Systems Support Technician

  Senior lead for an IT team of five people overlooking and providing technical support for an in house developed android application and sales tools. The team has exposure to a variety of software support environments, with a particular focus on database driven, data processing systems and web services like Umbraco, Microsoft Exchange, Maas 360, Learn Upon E-learning platform, Azure and Active directory.Hillarys acquired Thomas Sanderson, a competitor in the UK blind market in 2019. As part of this acquisition the team were key in putting in place new processes as the company adapted to Hillarys business model.- Maintaining and optimising communication channels with Hillary 1000+ self employed advisors. Provide effective recording, monitoring and control of Group IT support delivery.- Logging and Priorisiting software bugs / process improvements via a Jira Kanban board.- Maintain an asset database and track changes.- Ensuring all support procedures, processes and methodologies are followed diligently- Facilitate knowledge capture, cross training, lessons learned sessions and the implementation of remediation plans if required- Managing team’s workload and rota.
