TRAVIS MARLOW
I worked with Craig for over a decade and in that time I had the pleasure of working as an equal and then later as his manager. Craig is a dedicated and loyal employee that is always looking out for the best interest of the company, which he can translate into technical strategy and has an amazing ability to understand how socioeconomical events could impact the business and implement contingencies for them. As an individual that so much was required of, he was able to rise to the challenge because of his detail-oriented approach to his work, he was always organized and was a terrific leader within the engineering group and company at large. His vocal and disciplined work habits helped newcomers feel comfortable and they often gravitated to him for direction. Craig does not work with an ego and is driven by the satisfaction of a job done right. I would be happy to work with Craig in the future and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Craig is a great network engineer and network administrator. He was solely responsible the design and level 3+ operations of our entire Cable Modem network of 40k+ customers. On top of that, he regularly took on the design and implementation of our most complex custom business installs like multi-site managed VPN networks on devices that were new to our company. With little direction and no knowledge base to work from, Craig would dive into these projects and do whatever it took to figure it out and make the customer happy. Craig has my utmost respect and I highly recommend him.

I am the company's Senior Level CMTS/DOCSIS Engineer. I handle both design engineering and operations of the DOCSIS network from an end to end perspective while on call 24/7/365 for approximately 40,000 subscribers. Most recently we deployed DOCSIS 3.0, bonding 8 downstream channels. We have a GPON FTTH deployment that I am regularly tending to along with my team members. Duties include software upgrades and tier 3+ trouble escalation. In my little spare time I am tasked with the design and deployment of custom Metro Ethernet long haul single mode fiber solutions to large corporations, bringing gigabit capable speeds to the customer on demand. My department also maintains the company’s corporate networks. This includes all cisco routers and switches in a multiple vlan environment. I am also transport engineering's UNIX expert resulting in the on demand creation of Unix-based test tools or simulated attacks and simulated traffic requests. I function as the company's Internet Custodian of Records for the KC location. Sometimes working with company legal officers and Law Enforcement Agencies. On the same token I am also involved with Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) enforcement. Show less
