Sarah Yale
I had the immense pleasure of serving with Craig in Moshi, Tanzania in 2010-11. During our three months there, I observed him grow into a highly professional, reflective, and engaged educator for young children. Even while navigating a new language, culture, and "home" away from home, Craig distinguished himself as both a learner and a mentor, actively invested in the community and in ever lesson he planned and taught. As such, Mwalimu (teacher) Craig was beloved by all -- children, staff, and fellow volunteer alike.

Craig was an excellent volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cincinnati. He directly helped families with sick children and was consistent in his level of service. He was fun to work with and I could tell he enjoyed helping the families even when it wasn't glamorous or in the spot-light. Craig is a great person who possesses a lot of kindness and empathy.
